Why REZILIENT?
Reziliency means living our traditions, speaking our language, having compassion for each other, uniting, and loving the love.
My name is Rowena Jackson, I am water from Klamath and Crater Lake and a member of the Klamath Tribes in Oregon, USA. We are still healing from the trauma and economic impact of colonization.
My mission is to empower people to lead healthy, loving lives, and to stand up like our mountains, to refuse what we know is unhealthy. Recovery is catching on in my territory and I want it to catch on everywhere.
REZILIENT is a way for me to spread an empowering message about the healing happening on Turtle Island. Resilient people recreate a positive narrative for ourselves and our communities. That is why I remind you about your resiliency, on and off tribal lands. Remember to take care of your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual selves and all live with Mother Earth.
